In the mountains

To get where i stayed was a 10 minute walk up the mountain path, 
no car's or jeepneys or tricycle could get there

While i was there we had earth quake

I spent 30 day's living with a local family


the daughter and grand daughter's 
the owner 
the eldest grand daughter is honour student

this was taken inside a Filipino school

The place they live was mountain.

Water was hose pipe if pressure
cooking was the passage with fire

While I was there i bought
Portable Gas Stove
Electric Kettle

so the resident's could cook & coffee

I remember when I first started living on my own, I had asked my mom to teach me how to make this because it was serious comfort food for me and it’s so easy to make a big batch of it to have throughout the week. I think it’s fascinating that cooking can evoke such emotion and memory. The scent, the taste — it all brings you back. What does braised minced pork taste like?
